St Kilda library displays
from 2012 - 2021
There are numerous display cases, noticeboards, windows and walls at the St Kilda Library that have all been the backdrop for the ever-changing displays I create.
The library foyer houses two glass display cases that are nicknamed the coffins due to their shape. They may just be the death of me as they turn over almost every two weeks, I have very little time "off desk" and a tiny budget to work with.
I borrow props from the local op shop, bring in props from home, repurpose rubbish- my plastic-free July display was made entirely from plastic bags and sticky tape- and work with whatever I can find!
You'll often find me at the library's front desk with coloured paper and scissors, cutting out shapes between phone calls and enquiries...
